8 years ago my wife, Kim Izatt, had the idea for a cool Jane Austen app. I decided to run with it and managed to recruit a talented illustrator, Chase Jensen, to do the artwork. But then life got in the way and my hands/wrists gave out on me and I spent the next 7 years in physical therapy.

A couple of months ago, I decided it was time to resurrect the project and see it through. So since I wasn’t a developer anymore, I recruited a talented young developer, Reiley Snowden, and we were off to the races! All the artwork was already done, so in a matter of 2 months, we have a beautiful app in the App Store – Jane Austen’s World!

The app includes the full text of Pride & Prejudice (more books to follow) as well as Character Bios, Trivia, Quotes, and a map of England showing both fictional and real locations mentioned in the book.

Right now it’s an iPad-only app, but we’re hoping to get an iPhone version done, too. And if sales go well, we’ll move on to supporting Android phones and tablets. I encourage you to check it out!

Please be sure to Rate and Review it! Those help sales! 🙂 Thanks so much! I look forward to hearing what you think!
